In November of 2017 Marcellus Construction was mobilized to repair a broken 42” PCCP forcemain. A timely repair was paramount. MCI worked closely with county and railroad officials, sub-contractors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment from all over the US in a matter of days. An aggressive timeline for the repair and replacement of approximately 500’ of PCCP with HDPE was established to minimize cost to the client. MCI employees embraced the challenge – worked hard, long days – and completed the repair 3 days ahead of deadline.
